There is no relation between how she looks to how she feels,
The world may perceive her as the most beautiful thing;
But it doesn't make a lick of sense to her being.
For even though her face guarantees numerous likes,
Her self-esteem has been battered all throughout her life.
The love and attention she had sought was never given,
Hence, that gaping hole in her soul has always been a problem.
And though she learned how to live each day of her life;
A lot of things still run through her mind.
She tried to live on and finally let go of that knife.
